Think most regular folk will find the swiping screens full of hidden stuff a bit confusing.
Does it still use a floppy for a save icon like the earlier versions?

I'm enjoying some of the transition animations but fear there is too much initially hidden for less 'aware' users ie. the 'PEOPLE' demo... I'm not convinced the average users would understand to scroll right or left to view more options.

Their marketing is actually coming together nicely. I love the interface transition at the end they use.
XBox, Zune HD, and Windows Phone 7 = all awesome.

more interesting than android, by far.

I actually like it. Holding off from getting an iPhone 4 to replace my iPhone 3Gs with this. :) Yey for choice.

I like competition. Makes Apple better. However watching clones and copies has not been fun within the past 5 years

While it is a new modernistic take an user interface, it would appear as though it deters from the notion of touch. Flat interfaces tend to provide lack of visual aesthetically preference in ability to attract action unless it is the central or sole element of the canvas. As the interface blends in with the over all design structure, the user is at a lose where to provide action and necessary feedback as required.
The approach is interesting to say the least. It would be interesting to see how it evolves over time as the general users interact with it.
