I didn't include project descriptions for the sake of cleanliness. Do you feel that they're necessary, or are you ok with just skimming through the slides?
Thanks.

clean, i like. it'd be nice if i could go from project to project without having to scroll down and click a thumbnail

I like the simplicity. And also appreciate the lack of words, but I think potential clients may be interested to know about the process. So I would add some information in there depending on who your viewers are. Also, agree about the navigation. I'd like for there to be something *more* to selecting projects.
- I feel like the majority of potential clients look at pictures, not words. They will ask questions if they have them.dMullins

why don't you include project descriptions as the first slide? perhaps half of the first slide could be text and the other half could be a picture.
it would be nice to know more about the projects.
a close button would be nice. i know the header goes to the homepage and is equivalent to a close button, but this is not immediately obvious.
an about page would be nice. i don't know if you're a full-time freelancer, or a designer at an agency, or a bit of both, or if your portfolio is agency work or your own work, or what.
why does clicking on your email address go to the homepage?
overall though - very nice, and your body of work is impressive. just a bit more refinement and you'll be golden.
- Thx. Good points. I might include a descriptor below the image, on the right side.Presta
- Think a close button is necessary? Selecting another project would close the previous one.Presta
- to avoid scrolling down, my instinct was to close the current project in order to bring the proj thumbnails into the viewport.bigtrick

- As far as an about page... now I'm thinking I could start off with a "splash" slide with just a quick intro.Presta
- ah, i see. makes sense.Presta

Never a fan of cropped and angled screenshots. Makes me suspect the designs don't hold up on their own. Which is a shame because from what I can see of them they probably do.

Nice work. But I would put in a short description of each piece. It would be good to know at least a little bit of info

Nice work. Nice site. Agree with the project description comments. Only a short descriptions is needed. I also think I like the lack of a footer.... how non-conformist.
- Yeah, I think I'll have to give in and do that. I'll keep it short, as I gather people don't like to read much on folio sites.Presta

Nothing to criticize, yet nothing to compliment...

Like your site, work and also the angled shots – they're done well (you said maybe you should start with a straight one – that would keep all happy). Short project description is needed for sure.

well its a C-A-R-G-O theme, no?

I would say if no description, at least put the product/company name before the previous | next.

I like all of the work. I think not having a description is fine. Of what relevance is a descriptor to anyone but an interviewer? And in that case, leaving out the description gives you a lot to chat about with the interviewer.
I really enjoyed the work overall. Thumbs up!

you should have not mentioned anything about descriptions... now everyone only focuses on that! "people, please don't look at the bright yellow elephant on the top corner..."
The work is very nice, and I like the clean site! I also agree with honestly, not a big fan of having to scroll down just to click on a new thumb to open a new project... hope that makes sense...

LOVE IT!

The only reason to add descriptions here is if you are not responsible for 100% of the work – in the event that these were team project, you should point out your responsibilities etc.
- I work for a design company, but the only things I've included are projects which were 100% done by me.Presta

Nobody else has mentioned the broken scrolling function only seems to happen when you click a thumbnail then drag the browser scroll bar down - hard to explain but the scroll bar just jumps back to the top... Using Safari 5 (Mac). Nice though!
- Was testing it on my iPhone last night and something similar to this happened. Trying to recreate it, but can't.Presta
