so, to clarify, this is not a logo at all yet, this was a sketch sent along with a bunch of other sketches sent to the client for feedback.
The project, which I can't name yet, has the Acronymn "OO" and it's a platform for concert performers to get virtual feedback while practicing.
So working with double-"O" concepts alongside notions of music, scale and interaction, I came up with something similar to JMB's poster and I decided to do a little homage. If I had been thinking clearer, I probably should have cut it from the sketches. Sketches were sent, and I just heard back that they really like this concept...
I got back to them saying it was inspired by a famous poster and that maybe we shouldn't use it. But given the context, I was wondering if it could be read as an homage, rather than a rip...

dunno about the JMB poster but sooner or later your client is gonna look at the Seagate hard drive on his desk and think something like "FCK ME THAT POS DESIGNER SCREWED US!"
... and be super disappointed
