It's just an interesting social experiment to see the various responses that people on this site (and any other) will have to you if they know that you're young, or if they approve/don't approve of your work. Quit judging me man!
- quit acting like a child and we'll quit treating you like onescarabin

Thats what I like about the QBN...I keep getting older, and all these young designers stay the same age.

'I know that it's easy to get intimidated by all the well-aged 30-somethings on this site that shoot down anything that's too hip or fresh for their outdated style.'
The thing is, style is permanent, trend isn't. I've not seen any of your work so I can't comment but I find most of the feedback given on work to be good feedback dressed up in some sarcastic and childish remark. If you overlook the sarcasm and childishness (something that comes out all too easily on the internet) then you'll find good, well-founded ideas.
The childish nature of your posts is what's drawn ridicule, not people being discriminatory against you because of your age.
I'm 22 and I seem to get by fine. It's maturity and personality that draws the hate, not your age or ability to design.
Scroogeken and Stone Coker have been the 2 funny cases lately where they have come to this site as new users, told everyone that their shit is awesome, not listened to peoples responses and instead just turned it into an argument, and then been caught out as frauds.
You've had some attitude thrown back at you because you've been a bit of an idiot. If you be less of one, people will be less arsey back.

Well how old are you then. I can't be doing with hunting through previous threads/posts to find out?

"...I know that it's easy to get intimidated by all the well-aged 30-somethings on this site that shoot down anything that's too hip or fresh for their outdated style..."
Comments like that will continue to put you in the back of the Van strapped into your little baby seat regardless if you're taller than 5' 4"... ... the problem w/many youngsters on this site is that you get big for your britches and fail to realize you're still living on Daddy's dime w/little responsibility and plenty of time to fuck around... ... do you have a mortgage?... do you pay rent / utilities? etc etc (not share w/a roommate - I'm talking about taking care of yourself on an adult level)...
We 30-somethings and our 'outdated' styles paved the way for you to finally get your chance (just like those before us).
When you lack humility and speak w/pure hubris - it's awfully lofty of you to think you deserve the respect you speak of.
Get out of your training pants, stop ripping shit from the 80's... and respect your elders.

If you're a young, good looking woman, please post a picture of yourself. People will answer your questions immediately, even if its the dumbest fucking question on earth.

For the record, most of my original post was an exaggerated poke at the kinds of assumptions that have been made about me because of my age. The fact that I'm still "living on my daddy's dime" and don't pay for utilities should be irrelevant when it comes to basic respect between people, at least it is for me. I'll stop making broad assumptions about all of you when you stop being a bunch of cunts, KTHNX!
- You come here as a new user and 'make an exaggerated poke' at us...********
- ...and expect people not to be cunts back. You're the one making assumptions there.********

"he fact that I'm still "living on my daddy's dime" and don't pay for utilities should be irrelevant when it comes to basic respect between people, at least it is for me."
There's a intellectual glass ceiling for those who haven't had to support themselves. One day soon you'll understand.
