Can't do the untitled folder shit, too disorganized. I'm super strict about organizing stuff now.
But I create a "misc" folder where I throw everything random. It's like the equivalent of sending your trash to a landfill and not worrying about it.

I just cleaned my desktop and filed away things from 2010 that I may need but are not all that important. I imagine many of you are freelancers but having a network drive that everyone can access makes you run a tight ship.

Organizing client work is easy.
But porn? SO much harder to maintain. Someone needs to create an app for this.

It annoys me when people insist on creating an entire folder structure for every single client. Many clients will not have any print ads>Flyers>portrait flyers>with snails on>
to start a new client folder, it's not a bad idea to have a few folders ready to put logos or images in etc, but should be kept to one level. Subfolders can be created when needs be. A tree of empty subfolders just makes looking for stuff impossible!!! </rant>
- ah ok I was thinking more servers than HD's, got a little side-trackedProjectile

pretty much completed vs working, and then alphabetical. then there's a misc folder that just gets junk dropped in it... never to be found again.

the only thing i do is always put a space at the beginning of a folders name, that way, regardless of what else is in there, the folders will ALWAYS group at the top.
