Who drinks it, who likes it, what blogs and people do you follow.

I like it. I drink it...especially partial to a Macedon Ranges Pinot Noir or a crisp Barossa Savignin.
Follow Gary Vaynerchuck...http://tv.winelibr... - they guy used to give me the absolute shits and he can be as obnoxious as all buggery. But he knows his stuff and is pretty entertaining. His books are shithouse though.

Love it... but going to low the weekly intake (actual intake is not helpfull when i´m going to ride on bike ;))
Daily, for dinner, i take a coup or two of soft young red Navarre wine (i buy at ridiculous price on origin), does the job.
Love the Chardonnay, Cabernet sauvignon and garnacha too...
I´m now enjoying this vineyards:

Rioja's gallons and gallons of the stuff. Some ace Australian Tempranillo's starting to appear now too.

I should know more about it, considering the amount I drink. Can't really get past big reds - Rioja/Tempranillo, Malbec. Recently had a few Bonardas (similar to Malbec) which apparently are very underrated. Had some great stuff in Croatia (Bibić vineyards)

my favourite is french red (well, i'm french so hey). love a Burgundy pinot noir. my favourite is probably a nice bottle of Crozes-Hermitage though. can't drink white, too many nights out on the lash and doesn't agree with me.
also love a good argentinian Malbec to go with a steak. mmmmmmm

I accidentally had dinner on saturday night with one of "Britain's biggest wine bloggers", one of Britain's big food bloggers and a small handful of wine drinkers, including a professional sommelier.
I say 'accidentally' as I had no idea they were going to be there, which is why I turned up with my customary 4 cans of Scrumpy for me and cheap Bottle of Plonk with nice Label for Them.
Good night, if a little bit frou-frou in places.

thru college i lived at my uncles house - he and his wife both have great jobs and enjoy good wine. over 3 years of sampling, i developed quite a taste for it and became very well versed.
since then i've lowered my standards - as i now have a family to support and expensive wine is not on my "to do" list. now my palette can barely tell the difference between "sunny d" and vinegar.
there is a brand called smoking loon - for a $10-15 bottle, they're pretty good.
