Where do you guys look for inspiration? Have you ever come across any sites that use images, like say a swatch of fabric, paired with a leave against beige sand, etc? As opposed to sites like Colourlovers that just give examples as small squares of color.

not really color exclusive, but I find the range of work here so wide that it can serve that purpose for you:

^ kuler is great.
also sometimes i take photos of nature (forest, beach, autumn, winter etc) - and break it down to 4-5 colours.

I go for the pantone solid coated book and let my eye do all the work.

i find something i like first, and try to build off that. whether it's something printed/already designed, or a textile, &c
then i match that with the pms book.

i look under the sink, and other places. some strange colors around the house when you've got kids.
