Alright, I'm working on this and could use some feedback:
I'm gonna do fixed width so there aren't so many bars/lines. I got one piece of feedback that said there were more bars on the site than in a chinese prison. What else you got?

The font for your logo = really not good

...seems, has a point, as corrections in class, or take advantage of tips that out there, they cost money...

Two threads!

Hire a Designer. You might be a smart programmer but a UI designer will take you and your product much further.
The whole site is a mess so there is no point in posting this again anywhere on QBN until you seriously change it all!

" It all looks extremely amature."

I'm starting to think this is just being posted to help google rankings.

Whoa take it easy. I did post about this earlier, but wanted some more feedback. Although crude at times, I appreciated the bluntness. The main thing I got was the lines/logo, which I am working on. I just wanted more since I'm already making changes...calma-te! And thanks.
- it's just what happens when you post several times. Just respond in the original post. no need for a new thread.

nice product i guess but free my ass.
to create is to publish.Using Pubbsoft, it is free to sign up and free to create your books. You will be allowed full access to all software features. When you are ready to publish, its $150. We will then publish your book to the App Store where it will be available for download. Then you keep 50% of the profits from your sales.
- over all though, the product sounds good. (if it works)moldero

@moldro Thanks for the feedback. I don't want to trick anyone, but I do want to emphasize that you don't have to pay to USE the software. The business model is to get users, let them create content, then split the dough with them ONLY when they start making money. Not to hose them by charging them a monthly fee to use the software. Any tips on how else to say it?

just out of curiosity, if a dude sold each book for $1 what would he take home after Itunes and Pubbsofts cuts?
in short, whats iTunes cut?
- pubbsoft0
@detritus Thanks for the input. The idea is to help non-programmers create animated books that they can share and make money on. The value-add being they don't have to learn objective C...a HUGE excluder for 90% of the population.
@moldero If it was $1, the AppStore would keep .30, we would get .35 and the creator would get .35. As volume increases, we will take less of a percentage.

Alright, I made a fixed width version of the site as per some QBN feedback. I want to know which you like better. (and please don't say neither!) Any tips on the logo? People seem to hate that too.

You need to get a designer on board.
I'd say layout isn't awful, but colours, branding e.t.c are just crap.
