So, we just finished designing/developing our first Android app! Started small, hopefully it's useful. And hey, it's free!

super simple and interesting.. very nice.
- Boz0
does it send the message to Twitter or Facebook or what?
- Boz0
You should include a bit of a description for app..
Here's my first take..
Often, the simplest ideas are the best.. When I got to the site though I saw what the app is but I had a few questions before I wanted to actually download it..
I think you should just say a bit more about the stuff that it's doing..
Like... set a twitter, facebook message while you are driving or just busy..
Just another sentence that actually says just a bit more about how the app works.
- I was wondering if we'd kept the description too simple. I'll take a look at that, thanks.afabrega

ah..nevermind.. I see it's a text-message..

Thanks for the feedback everyone.
It was a pretty interesting project, great learning experience as well. One thing I didn't expect: as much as I love iPhones, development seemed much fast on Android (course, I'm a designer so take that with a grain of salt).

Small + Free = your strongest assests; remember you can't start at the top! Have to work you're way to it...

Excellent work across the board...

WOOF? no WOOF?
super bored : )

Very nice...
On the site using FireFox 3.6.16 it has an endless scroll to the right and the site disappears

why would I use that when I could just ignore the text until I wanted to respond?
What percentage of people use text of the phone?
Whats the average car trip?
Did you talk to the public before development or just get an idea and run with?I am not hot on the automation. I think our technology needs to encourage more human contact, not less.
Nicely put together though.

Sure thing...
I do a lot of UI for Android and am wondering how you liked making things for the different screen resolutions? If you did or did you just go for the HDPI screens?
- Creating different assets for different resolutions was a little tricky. In the end, didn't support lowest res for this launch.afabrega

It would be cool if you could program a Video Response.

@VikingKingEleven it's a huge segment, the national carriers have paid services for this built into the system already. For parents of young drivers auto lock down is also in use and huge segment.
