Anything that takes place in the woods.
Color Out of Space was fantastic. Not really in the woods per se, but on the edge and very rural:
The Ritual was scary as fuck, I thought, too:
And this trailer was just released today, looks great as well!
- I am a fan of HPs work, but I don't think this did very good capturing the aloneness that was the scary part of the book. I enjoyed the movie, otherwise.lemmy_k
- I really liked the Ritual. Great job of creating dread.lemmy_k
- Loved The Ritual.Ramanisky2

- ^lol what?? what did she think?
are you saying she hasn't slept in 6 months? :)futurefood - Yes. Don't bother with the recent one though.MrT
- We play a lot of dead by daylight together so she's really into the horror genreYakuZoku
- I especially love the second one. The third is very good too. I didn't bother with the ones after that. I don't think Clive Barker was even involved.CyBrainX

- I'm with Cy... I thought the 2nd one was absolutely amazing back in the day...exador1
- 1 and 2. Boring fact: Pinhead was not supposed to have a grid. The original mask makers cut the grid for pin placement.garbage
- IIRC they wanted to maintain a symmetry and calculated feeling to Pinhead's presence. And then were like "yeah, keep the grid."garbage
- One of the best horror movies ever... Clive Baker came up with idea for this at a house party in Crouch End, London - My mate ended up owning.necromation
- I still have Clive Barkers Books of Blood graphic novel somewhere.

Did any of you horror fans collect Fangoria mags back in the day?? I used to bring those to school and I would get the wildest looks from people. Had to explain to them that I loved the behind the scenes & making of VFX and makeup portion. Kinda like saying you got playboy for the articles.
- Man, i had a subscription... I remember my mom hated the fact that my walls were covered with the pull-outs posters - My mom wasn't a fan of Tom Savini's worknecromation
- Hahaha .. so true. Had a pullout poster of The Exorcist on my wall. Parents hated it.Ramanisky2
- I still have a 2ft stack of ‘em, including a bunch of Gorezonesprophetone

Rewatching all the Saw movies (excluding SawX)
I have some questions .... Rhetorical ones of course
1. What exactly was Jigsaw’s budget ? lol
2. How many things had to go “JUST” right for his master plan to actually work out the way it did?
.... many more lolzImagine the man power to have to build all those traps (62 traps)
Still pretty entertaining schlock oh and Betsy Russell who plays Jigsaws Wifey is one of the worst actresses I have ever seen. (Very hot tho)
- LOL I've been re-watching the series with my son this month as well, we're on V currently. It's so goddamn silly, but still a good time for sure!elahon
- ^ Finished all 8 and now I’m about start Spiral which I haven’t watched before.Ramanisky2
- Never watched any of the Saw films, seemed a really daft concept.PhanLo
- Nor I, I've always assumed it was torture porn without any real purpose.Nairn
