You're looking for something like this:
http://www.npr.org/sitemap/
Or http://www.smashingmagazine.com/…I've never seen an implementation of a sitemap that's all that interesting. Also, sitemaps are kind of a 90's thing. You could always put your sitemap in the footer.
- Yep. I had seen that one on Smashing earlier today. Sadly that's the most 'interesting' treatment I've seen. It's surprising that such a common element in web design has not broken 'out of the box'.wagshaft

Nice diagram, but not looking for flow diagrams/architecture, rather examples more along the lines of what one would see when clicking the ol' "site map" link.
In general the site map has been thoroughly shunned in the web design community; one of the main arguments being that a well architected and designed site has no need for one.
As an SEO tool the sitemap appears to be making a comeback with the new purpose of attracting more search hits rather than as an organized summary of content for the user.
Blah. Blah. Anyway, I just want to see if any websites are doing visually interesting things with the site map.

Regardless of their merit, I'm looking for well executed/designed site map pages.
Bring the noise.
