I am looking at recording really nice high quality sound on a 7D. I found this option to record straight through an XLR cable to SD cards, but I don't want to use PluralEyes http://www.singularsoftware.com/… to mix the sound later.

What is a good product that will sync my audio immediately in the cam, but still get the XLR quality sound into the cam?
Would any of these work?

there isn't one. yo HAVE to record to external recorder to get audio.
also if you don't run your audio through some quality mixer you are getting sub-par audio in the first place.

grab a Zoom recorder and mount it on top..
works fine.but yep, using the camera, fail

I use a zoom recorder and sync it up in FCP. It's kind of a pain, more file management but the outcome is good.

Zoom h4n ran through your external audio plug and use the zoom as your mixer. Works great for me and no having to audio sync later. Just make sure you get a good mic. I'm currently using an audio technica. Hope this helps.

I use this set:
Zoom H2 (4 tracks independants and 4 mics inside, one pair at 90° and other in 120° - awesome) - http://goo.gl/i2AjvAudio-Technica ATR6550 Condenser Shotgun (zoomable) http://goo.gl/KjKFR
This set have a good quality and isnt too expensive...
