Suggestions, other than verdana and the web-safe fonts?
Looking for something easy on the eye that looks good on a 12-14px height.

Are you looking to use web fonts? If so, there are many options, it's like asking what is the best font for print.
If sticking with system fonts, then your best options may be Helvetica/ Arial or Georgia for serif.

I'm not asking for the best TYPE (not font) for print.
Just more options other than web-safe fonts.

Whilst we're on vaguem unasnwerable subjects—I'm looking for colour recommendations outside of the old 216 websafe palette too.
Any thoughts?
Needs to look good on screen—not bad.
