But you need a twitter or facebook account to play?
- you can borrow one of my twitter accounts if you think it's too expensive...registe

- Do you have an invite?jamesjohnston
- no twitter or Facebook required, those are just options for quicker sign-in. Just type in an email and password!monospaced

how does this work? is the game running on a cloud of servers and streaming to your browser window a series of images, so that it looks like you are playing the game on your computer.
If so, umph there it is. the future. just take the users interactions from keyboard/mouse - send quickly to server, update graphics/gameplay/website and then very quickly send image back.
maybe the future of all computing is a device that is as simple as a input device+screen that connects to a cloud of processing computers. these computers run the applications, photoshop etc. and u pay a subscription. in this scenario, a consumer would never have to faff around upgrading their computer every year and updating software. i guess you'd need a guaranteed internet connection to compute.

- Streaming the updated screenshots is slower than letting the computer do it.monospaced
- Unless you have some crazy awesome compression algorithms. See "Onlive".digitdaily

the whole game map is split into many square relatively small areas. when leaving to the next area there is a significant loading process. also it's all in a flash thing but without slowing down my old non-intel mac.

interesting that this comes as a tiny social connected and free game like farmville but has actually potential to move up to a league of games like diablo.
