For those of you paying attention, this is more of the wood from my father in law. I made this box for my mother in law, but my wife and I like it so much, we are keeping it. At least I have another project now.
This was my first attempt at dovetail keys and inlay. I am very happy with the results in both. I will apply both new skills to my mother in laws project.

Forgot about this guy, I used to watch his channel quite a lot.
His style is quite good, often he makes wee mistakes but finds ways to fix them or at least highlight them so you don't do the same thing.
Anyway, I enjoyed this while having my soup today.
