@ETM my Michael Dell comment was related to raf's comment on page 3 (twitter link) joking about HP.

I am still looking for one. I may have to watch bestbuy.com like a hawk.

HP says they will produce 1 more run of Touchpads at the $99 price tag through Oct 31 (fiscal Q4). It all depends if retailers want to bother with them.

I like it but much like android, it's little clunky. Over all it's pretty goI'd intuitive experience.
Did you get one already? I was just about to email you to see if you wanted one.

JSK, what do you think of web OS?
- JSK0
Btw I have some extra 32gb touchpads
- GeorgesII0
killing such a good OS is a crime and Hp`s ceo should be prosecuted,
no joke, except for the lack of apps Web OS is pretty fuckn slick.Anyways, I'll probably install Android once it's ported but I won't do it with a smile..
- They're not killing it, they would rather license it than make hardware for it.ETM

HP will become the next Gateway.
But I'm gonna try to scoop up one of the second round Touchpads. YEAH!

Michael Dell is a cunt. He said in the late 90s this about Apple: "I'd shut it down and give the money back to the shareholders".

This was all a marketing scheme to catch up to iPad quickly.

Hewlett-Packard Co. said it will temporarily resume manufacturing of its ill-fated tablet computer just 11 days after killing its iPad rival as part of a sweeping corporate overhaul.
The company hasn't said what it will do with the group that manages the webOS software, which was acquired with smartphone maker Palm Inc. for $1.2 billion in 2010. The company has said it was investigating ways to continue using webOS.

Do they sell them at WalMart?

Any of these left in Canada?

ghandolf, got one to sell?

This will go down as the most confusing sale in the history of electronics.

Did anyone buy one at Staples yesterday? Don't leave me hanging!

I got a 32GB yesterday at Staples for $149.00. They hadn't received the memo yet from corporate allowing them to sell them at the lower price. I had to buy it at full price, and went back later for a credit for the difference. Morans...
He said to me, "Well I've got people who want these once the price drops!" I told him I was standing here right now - sell it to me for full price, and I'll see you later this afternoon for my credit! He did NOT want to do that either.
"We" bought 4 of them that way. ... (Sorry, They're all spoken for already.) BestBuy here, sent all of theirs back to H-P rather than deal with the rebates.
