there is no justice.... today i'm ashamed to be (half) american.... no excuse and no justice.... talk about a first world country.... public lynching that's what it was. RIP Troy Davis..... the only beautiful thing in this whole ugly story is the way he and his family conducted themselves.... with pride and forgiveness

The United States is one of the 5 countries with most executions carried out in 2010. Who's ahead of the US? China, North Korea, Iran, and Yemen!
Maybe we should stop trying to win the gold medal in death penalties and focus on improving our shameful educational ranking.

It's the fault of the system. They're not going to give everyone a retrial. What kind of legal precedent would that set? Especially, in this shit economy. Bad luck for that dude. Wrong place; wrong time.
- can you please elaborate what the economy has to do with that?pressplay
- it's the fault of the system - no shit, Einstein.Fax_Benson

Can't really blame the whole of Georgia.
Plus, they can always exonorate / pardon at a later date if needs be. Terminate until proven innocent. You can't hang around with these things. Think how much safer the world is now.
