Any merricans here with experience working in europe, asia or OZ?
I have always wanted to but lately more than ever. Anyone have tips or know of agencies who hire americans? Easiest countries to work in. What to expect. Thanks.

Your best bet it to make a list of top 5 cities you'd like to work in, then start targeting the large global agencies, as they are typically more likely to hire foreigners and have the resources to sponsor you for a work permit.

I'll warn you right now, though, as someone who's been actively trying to move back to Europe: this recession is not doing the design and advertising industries any favours at all, and it's exceptionally difficult to convince a potential employer to hire a foreigner in this climate. I'm not saying it's impossible, but I am telling you it's well tough.
Good luck.

Move to BRAZIL

it is going to vary from country to country, but it will be rough.
I moved to the UK about 3 years ago and it was not too terribly difficult, but now due to the recession the prevailing attitude is 'keep them ferriners out' and if I were to aply now, I would definitely be denied.
Also bear in mind that some if not all countries are going to have a quota system for visas so when you do decide to apply for visas it would be a good idea to find out when the quota resets.
You'll have to do a fair amount of research and keep in mind that most countries will want you to have a certain amount of money to proved that you can support yourself. So if you don't have that yet, start saving and make a timetable.

Mexico City is also a good shot. But the pay might not be what you expect!
