Can we really let this happen?
It's great for James Cameron and all the other actors to be in this documentary. How can we let the richest natural resource in the world get destroyed for the solely purpose of making a few people rich.
I think it is time for everybody change their mind about this stuff... I know being eco-friendly went out of fashion at some point in the 80's... but this HAS to change now.

would you renounce your style of life clearThoughts?

I sincerely would. I really would...
I think consumer society got to a point where what we are giving is SHIT.
Xfactor, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Food that makes you fat, you gotta pay to go to the gym and burn that fat, drinking...I'd much rather live with eco-friendly energy, get the media and culture I like through a free internet and source food from reliable sources. Probably farming in the area.
Doesn't mean you can be cool, have style, watch films, listen to music, eat nice things, play games....

This is solely about energy.
And the people that benefit about this are just a few.Check out Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth" - there are other sources of energy, and this is not a hippie though.
Furthermore, people that were developing different types of energy have been murdered.

Here's an interesting new model. Not a dam this time, but oil drilling instead. Basically, a plan for the international community to pay Ecuador to leave a massive amount of oil in the ground.
check it out. http://www.smh.com.au/world/payi…

- sad also, that this plan probably won't happen. it's really quite simple, and 13,6 B over 13 years is affordable.pizzafire
- I reckon Bill Gates could easily spend $1m on this... well done Australia thoughclearThoughts

for the price of a single laser guided missile,
we could solve lots of problem instead of blowing shit up,
but was is profitable, trees can't borrow money.
