Does anyone know if there is a rental service for synths and other cool music production gear? Generally speaking but in Toronto specifically.
want to get some gear for my kids but don't want to spend thousands just so it can all sit in the closet.

- don't need to spend thousands.. honestly, just look on craigslist or kijiji .. you can usually get a good mini rig happening for a few hundred..autoflavour
- won't be amazing, but for kids, its fine. recently got my 8 year old a MC-505 .. $200 second hand.autoflavour
- break a hundo and grab some pocket operators, used even. Kids can even throw them on the ground and you wont cry.futurefood
- I've heard of libraries in the states ( so maybe canada too ) that have instruments including synths that you can get on lend just like a library book!microkorg
