Not much to talk about right now outside of Westbrook being incredibly overrated and too full of himself. I dont think he realizes he's not the best player on that team.
OKC has a deeper team with their bench players, but Miami's big 3 are canceling all of that out while Westbrook jacks up tons of bring all night.
Next game is almost a must win for OKC because if they go down 3-1 it wont be very easy to come back from that against the Heat who are clicking right now.

I used to think Bron was a much better basketball player in comparison to the league at-large. Clearly he is still a stellar artist of the physical form, and a member of basketball's athletic elite, but for whatever reason, his game has changed since he arrived in Miami.
He has no fire left in his eyes, no excitement for the game outwardly, and he is visibly in his head during games; you can just see in his face the psychological and emotional impact of his decisions. Wade too seems to me like he doesn't play the same since Bron came along.
When you want something to go one way so badly, and it turns a sharp corner like that on you, it must really suck to have to live with regret on such a large scale every day of your life in front of millions of people who hate you because you just wanted a better opportunity for yourself.

^ true.
Larry Bird and Magic Johnson used to not be able to be kept in the same room together - there was that kind of rivaly. It was personal and real - it led to stronger games and more furious play.
As a millenial, I can't say I remember those days - but man - I wish these guys would play with more passion.

best players stay in one team and carry it to the heights...LBJ just fucked off to Miami after some time...he lost 2 finals already(probably will lose the 3rd as well), but he will get his ring eventually, but no one will respect it...he is mvp, he is the best player in the world right now, but he just ruined his legacy with that miami deal...
Bosh also...he was pissed and just escaped to miami...
Carmelo did it as well, he was playing in the western conference finalist, and he wasn't happy there...he just fucked off to NY to get a better sponsorship deal, bigger spotlight, and can't even get in the playoffs, damn I think that Nuggets are the better team without him...
this new generation doesn't give a shit about rivalries, about loyalty to a team that drafted them, about sport tendencies...they just want fame, sponsorships, and in LBJ's case - an easier way to get the goal...and people see that, and that is why he is so disrespected...he was clutch in cleveland many times, and people loved him, but after that move...nobody gives a shit about him...it is like playing a video game with a cheat - AND STILL NOT WINNING...then you become a laughing stock
- NOW GET OFF MY LAWN!!!CALLES
- yep. lbj was in a better position to win in cleveland, imo. this is a team sport, and they were tight. not so much now.doesnotexist
- Cleveland wouldn't have taken him anywhere. And the knicks did make it to the playoffs.duckseason
- < my bad! they did make the 8th seed...loool

I love that LeBron gets 30 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and people will still criticize him.

What's scary about the Thunder is how young that team is. They're already among the best in the league. If they can keep that team together they're going to be good for a long time.
In the west, Spurs are getting old, Lakers are a mess, Kobe nearing the end of his career and slowing down. OKC has a chance to become a dynasty and be the best team of this decade.

I actually think James would have been more respected if he stayed in Cleveland and never won a championship, than go to Miami and get 1 or 2 with Wade, if they can even manage that.
When his career is over it doesnt matter what he does at this point, he will always be looked at as a chump and a quitter. Jordan never had a guy with Wade's abilities.
He would have been better off say going to a team like the Knicks and accomplishing something there. The Heat were already good before he got there and won a championship without him already. There's just nothing he can do now, his legacy is fucked.
- Whoever is advising him fucked him in the ass by telling him to go to the Heat.CygnusZero4
- miami won championship with shaw, zo, walker, williams. totally different team when he came down.brandelec
- jordan had someone better: mr. pippenbrandelec
- HUHHHH???? Pippen was NOT better than Wade. Pippen has said that himself.CygnusZero4
- Pippen was betterbrandelec
- Only a Bulls fan could possibly believe that nonsense. Pippen wasnt winning shit without Jordan.CygnusZero4
- Wade already was the main man on a championship team.CygnusZero4

durant is a beast. okc is playing like they have nothing to lose and no pressure. that with the best young talent in the league is a nightmare for miami.

Thunder look too young and too fast for the Heat. My guess is they get this in 6 games.
