Any people turn down work if they think the company is stupid, even if you have the time?

Most certainly

of course... if i can't get into it, i'm not doing it.

Yup; one too many clues that it will be another Client from Hell ('If you do this for peanuts, I can guarantee you'll get loads of work from us!') is usually the reason.
- akrok0
maybe, baby.

Definitely, a client who will waste your time with a plethora of changes and ultimately leave you unhappy with the work is not worth your time.
You are far better off spending that time actively looking for better clients to build long term relationships with.
On the flip side, if you really need the money now, suck it up, spit it out and move on.

Waste your time with stupidity, you'll have no room for something better.

I just rejected two projects, fuck them all!

I reject every project! Life is good..

If it's just that the company's lame, then I'd probably take it if I had free time, a single job normally buys a memorable life experience (travel or whatever).
But if they'll waste time and/or not allow you to do your job (ie insist beyond reason that you implement their retarded idea of a 'design'), then fuck 'em.

I turn down 75% of the work that comes my way, bunch of cheap ass niggas where I'm at.

I turned down two sites last night, the dude sounded like a dick and it was the very first email he had sent to me.
The older I get, the less fucktardery I can tolerate.

Yesterday I was asked if I could design a site. The wireframes would be delivered 23th December, with designs due 3rd January. Erm, no.

If it wasn't for idiot clients
Wouldn't have no clients at all.
Born under a bad sign.

yes, but I'm lazy and we're a 2 income home. I've stopped recommending people as well. I ended up being the middle man and/or moderator a few more times than I wanted to.
- duckseason0
Yup.
Now I need to learn to start turning down friends...

The worst is when a friend of a client needs a new business card or something and they refer you without asking.
