Software updates at night?

Fuck me, but between Adobe, Microsoft, and Apple, I keep getting interrupted by fucking software updates, and the need to enter passwords, click on user agreements, and all that bullshit.
Is there any way to set up my Mac to do these things in the middle of the night, without me having to do anything, so my workday isn't interrupted?

That depends on them, right?

There isn't a way to setup update times manually, because your system actually receives a signal when connected that either says there are updates, or there aren't.
With a PC, you can do this though. Hardly a case for a trophy.

Not really considering they have all rolled their own update systems.
There should be a way to automate Apple software updates at night and App Store updates. Ask on a Mac forum.

no there isn't. you will always be prompted to enter your password.
you can schedule the updates to monthly in the sys prefs though.my solution is not to update most of the time. and update whenever I have some spare time.
