I don't see an end any time soon to typography-based design reminiscent of old western posters and prohibition-era signs.

I think that there will be continuing trends that refine looks that defined the '80s and '90s in design, but in a contemporary fashion. I also predict a rise in quality black and white photography, both in practice and in design.
