You have too many things that look alike; just grab the best one and make it last. We've all been through that, we want to show it all!!! but think quality rather than quantity.

It is very 90's, in design and layout.

I closed at "cutting-edge".

Wordpress. Yuck.

Wordpress sucks for REAL designers. But for a lame ass like me it makes it so easy to update and keep track of. Aren't like 90% of designers sites WP these days??? Do people even "design" websites today?
- canoe0
People still design MKD.
Regarding your website... well how about a critique on your brand?
I think you can do much better than M Key - do you feel it deserves to be remembered for it's wit and energy?

There's something odd and fishy about all of this. The outdated website design, the lack of business sense (regarding the separation of work between the two designers), coupled with the big-name clients... and the really out-out-place photography section.
Are you really working for these clients?? Is this all self-initiated work? Everything seems inconsistent, even the quality of work from one project to the next (Keith's stuff I'm mainly looking at).
How are you so out of touch that you don't know what South Park is, yet you are doing work for Pepsi and WWE. If you're doing work for these huge clients, you should be on top of what is going on culture-wise. You don't have to watch South Park, or even like it. But to not even KNOW it is just odd.
I just can't imagine these big clients asking you to design for them based on what I'm seeing from how you present yourself, your company, and your work.
Something just isn't connecting here.

some of the work is great, your website is really poor. the comments here are gold, i'd follow them and spend the weekend fixing it up.

Now thats the QBN that i was looking for. Why dont you show us your amazing site?
Do you have any idea what its like working for HUGE clients. I dont think they hire you because you know about a stupid cartoon. They are way more smarter than that.
I am just a guy who sucks at building websites. LOL!

^ awesome dude

Well, MKD... I do know what it's like. Did work for Walmart (still hate them), Microsoft, NBA, a golf club maker, a major university's sports program. If I name the last two clients specifically, someone on QBN will figure out who I am, so I won't. I also won't show you my portfolio. It's out there right now, but I'll never connect my QBN name with my professional name. IMO it's a dumb thing to do, career wise.
Anyway, you missed my point. I wasn't talking about clients finding out that you don't watch South Park, I was talking about being culturally aware. As a designer, you should be plugged into society through all sorts of media. And yet you're telling me that you've never even heard of South Park. It's been on the air for 15 years. It makes me think you don't really live in the US and aren't being honest in more ways than one. I may be wrong though. You could be living in a cave.
And the way you write, here and on your website, is not of someone who would seem to have the capabilities of running with large American clients. The 1st person / 3rd person inconsistencies on your website are unprofessional. You seem lost and disorganized. Your copy is all over the place. Even your résumés are packed full of design jargon that sounds like it's been pulled from other résumés.
I don't know. I getting a weird vibe from all this.

I have heard of south park you jack ass. I can speak anyway i want on this site. Thats why we are all on here.
I am glad i have made you feel so WEIRD. Enjoy that feeling! :-)
NOW GET BACK TO WORK!
- spot130
I know you wanted a pat on the back and a "Great Work MKD" or a "I really like your fake client login that makes you look cool".... but what fun would that be. You can always count on QBN to be brutally honest so just take the feedback, it's all constructive.
- k_temp0
Well MKD if you are really feeling like insulting and not getting critiques, then go fuck yourself with your website.
cheers bud.
What's the reason for looking for a critique and not accepting it? People are giving their opinions whether you like it or not, whether is trolling or not. Accept and move on.
- shit man... you are NOT in school anymore.. i suppose.k_temp

Listen guys...
I love and appreciate the comments for sure. Thats why i made the post. It just dosent have to get personal. But when people assume different things thats when it gets ugly.
How about just asking questions like a true professional instead?
Its all good! Happy Friday!
