- I especially loved double albums with the artwork inside the gatefold sleeve, maybe even a 12" x 12" booklet too. The smell. The crackle of the needle dropping.mort_

- “Anti-shock”
Taps it with hand and the CD jumpsChimp - I had this exact one velcro'd to the interior of my first gen Integra connected to the tape deck with the tape adapter.fooler
- This is the one I had. I wonder where it is nw, poor thing. RIP
https://i.ebayimg.co…Nairn - A proper 10 seconds memory buffer at CD bitrate would require about a Mb of space - back in the 90s that wouldn't even fit. I wonder how they worked?Nairn
- I suppose you have a shock sensor and it reads the last position before impact, then get the read head back there as fast as possible, no buffer required.Nairn
