Oh shit - what was that card game that was played back in UK schoolyards the 80s where you had to pick some card from a pack and depending upon what it was, you then got your knuckles rapped by the pack and there was a technique to shaping the back to deliver the most pain? Like, if you picked the 2 of clubs you got two soft knuckle raps, but if you got the King of hearts (red for blood) your knuckles were basically going to get fucked from 12 hard bastard raps?
Anyone else have that, or was that some peculiarly-sadistic thing from that one school?

My daughter attended two weeks of 'summer camp' recently - a YMCA-led thing at a local school to give tired parents some reprieve over the summer months. She came back the other day and started saying "Red Rover, Red Rover, if you're [x] come over!" where X is a colour they're wearing or whatever.
Presumably the version she was taught is a much tamer version of the game that was, alongside British Bulldog, banned from every school I went to after about the age of 8 (so, I guess '85 or so?).

I remember seeing this trailer in the theater as a teenager and being completely blown away. Heart raced with excitement and I was so pumped to see this.
