Have little to no experience with LFP, but trying to learn the basics for a personal project, and its just overwhelming to use google - a cajillion possible answers.
I am designing a 19' piece that will be used in a marine environment with lots of sun / uv on an stand up paddleboard. Trying to keep the weight of the substrate to a minimum. Needs to be an adhesive application, and waterproof. Any LFP peeps here with ideas / suggestions? Should I consider a latex product?

look into some polystyrene, we've just done a large quantity in 12' sections, it's really light-weight, not affected by moisture, and is easy to transport.
wherever you get it printed, make sure they use solvent inks over pigment (UV longevity). also, cold lam (matte) does wonders for direct sunlight applications.

thanks, what kind of substrate should I look into? thin / clear vinyl?

polystyrene usually comes in white. we normally print on 3m control tac. if you can find any of the older stuff with contour-webbing in it, it gives a neat texture, if you're into that. i usually print on 10 oz vinyl then lam.
if it's in direct sunlight, i'd stay away from any clear vinyls. i've had a couple that had the adhesive start to yellow underneath after 6 mo. could have been a bad batch, but never wanted to risk it again...
- yeah any sort of vinyl aint that great for outdoors.k_temp

I've used tyvek, it is lightweight and durable. It holds well using grommets and zip ties. However, ive only used it indoors but looking at these sites it looks like it can be used outdoors as well.
