I like it, it's fun. More of a campaign than anything design related though...

"Whether you were hugging the machine or experiencing the event online, our goal was the same—to sell you glorified sugar water," Coca-Cola Company spokesman Leonardo O’Grady said in a press release.

- You're duller than the other desperate-for-attent... trolls on here, I'll give you that.detritus
- How exactly is this desperate for attention? Just comparing design sensibility in each company.futuremongolian
- also, how is this a troll? Strange accusations.futuremongolian
- You seem keen to make a point that addresses nothing to do with the thread, instead indicating your knowledge ..detritus
- ..on a subject no one really cares about. Kind of like how some people prattle on about their financial awareness.detritus
- .. as a desparte ploy to be taken seriously / wealthy.detritus
- sorry mate, perhaps that's how your brain works I just had fuck all to do so I thought I'd throw up some images.futuremongolian
- But I do apologize for violating the sanctity of thread which you clearly hold dear to your heart.futuremongolian
- I'll refrain from making any more posts on this topic, have at er bro!futuremongolian

(Singapore)
"A new Coca-Cola vending machine at the National University of Singapore dispenses free cans in exchange for hugs.Instead of the usual logo, the words ‘Hug Me’ is written across the machine’s front in the iconic red and white.
The ‘Hug Machine’ is programmed to dispense a can of Coke when a person wraps their arms around it—and no, it simply doesn’t accept money!
It is part of a new campaign by Ogilvy & Mather to spread some love and well, Coke.
"Whether you were hugging the machine or experiencing the event online, our goal was the same—to put a smile on your face and share that emotional connection," Coca-Cola Company spokesman Leonardo O’Grady said in a press release.
"Reactions were amazing... people really had fun with it and at one point we had four to five people hugging the machine at the same time as well as each other!"
The company plans to install more of such machines across Asia in the coming months."
