Hi, anybody know of any preferably UK based) manufacturer of bespoke printed doormats. I have a requirement for a small run (6 off) to be printed.
Thanks in advance

What about just getting some plain ones, making a stencil and spraypainting the design onto it?
Not sure how long it'd last though. You'd maybe have to look at harder-wearing paints.

i've had quite a few custom carpets made over the years - i can't recommend anyone in the UK, the people that do it where i'm at are just a regular carpet company. i run paper patterns thru the plotter at size and deliver. they cut them by hand and assemble and glue to the rubber matts. i usually use a thicker weave to hide any inaccuracies.

Best chance is to get plain carpets and run them through a flatbed solvent ink printer. I can point you in the direction of a few people who can do the job.
- i'm yet to see a flatbed printer do carpet well.bjladams
- well, unless you want to print a boticceli on a furry green carpet it's OK - I saw good stuff at Print UK this yearmaikel
- i've got access to one, and can't for the life of me get it to print well on carpets. i'm sure it's possible, i just haven't seen it.bjladams

weird, I was just going over some designs with my team this morning for exactly this. US (NYC) though, so again, no help.

Thanks guys - help appreciated. The design is fairly complex though, but just solid colours, I guess it's something that could be screen printed if that helps?

I've done some of these as well, as per bjladams comment above call some local carpet places for custom logo carpets they should be able to hook you up. They can inlay different colors as mentioned or "shave" it in, but talk direct with your closest supplier.
