Question for illustrator folks out there:
Are the artistic brush strokes (found in the brushes library) vector? When you zoom in the little details are not actually nodes (that you can drag and edit) but linear so how are they treated in illustrator? Do printers recognize it as vector shapes?

They are vector, you can expand their appearance to the actual outline. When you make your own brush strokes, you start with a vector shape too.

They are vector - You don't see the nodes as it is still a stroke. Expand the object and you'll see nodes.
