Anyone know any reliable, good freelance Python/Django devs? NYC location is ideal, but can be around the country.
Send me an email or leave a comment!
Cheers.

Wait for it.....

It's hard enough to find freelance Rails devs these days...and you're asking for Django? Good luck with that...

Tell me about it. A client of mine got stuck into this platform... Not ideal in the least.

I would really relax your location requirement...I've run into a few django devs here in silicon valley Ideas for you instead of QBN (which is not a programming heavy resource)
1 - Craigslist help wanted bay area/nyc
2 - Django meetup group message boardsGood luck...

Ironically, QBN is written in Django..

yes I have http://lmgtfy.com/ , but just want to see if any one here has done it (the leg work) , how can I execute a python script with java script ,
here is what i picture , user logs into browser goes to an IP sees a button, since the IP loads a web page , LAMP stack ,
user pushes button , a python script runs , is it just a ajax call with in the same directory like http://stackoverflow.com/questio… i tired it but not sure if I referenced my python script right
- did it with no javascript was not aware php could execute a python , much simplerBattleAxe

@BattleAxe
So, you have a LAMP stack with Python scripts that need called also? How complex is the Python script? Can you rewrite the Python in PHP? That may be the easiest fix.
Alternatively, you'll most likely need to setup another server to parse the Python scripts. Most modern hosts these days have a Python / Django environment available. Google App Eninge does, and it's free up to a certain (generous) bandwidth.

I have Python installed it is on a raspberry , where I also installed the LAMP stack, the python is fairly simple but it calls a hardware component that I want to execute with a web interface
- python includes a web server, why not just use that instead of all the LAMP overhead? I think the command is "python -m http.server"monNom
- the idea is for a mobile device to be able to access the rapsb as a server while with in range of the network via http then have a web gui to run scriptsBattleAxe
- ok I was able to do so with a php execu function , nice and simple i like itBattleAxe
