Bearing arms against your own government would be an absolute last resort. America has the ability to vote, run for office and even publicly protest. The right to bear arms against a tyrannical government is the pivotal issue. Single or double barrel single shot long guns for hunting to feed rural families makes sense, Those same firearms are all anyone would need for home defense as well. Firearms for the purpose as described in the second amendment can be produced in any home machine shop with proper tooling. People that enjoy shooting high capacity firearms can rent them at any range, to be used only on site.
Summary: Keep your second amendment rights by becoming a machinist with a FFL and a stock of materials. Keep your basic hunting firearm. Keep things in context.

Everything is to blame. Pharma, lazy parents (probably the #1 cause), video games, rap, movies, media - anything that promotes violence has to be a contributing factor.
Not really that ironic how America promotes violence (video games, Hollywood, rap) and won't allow any type of nude or sexual anything in mainstream media.
I suppose we have a pretty good history of violence and suppression, why stop now.
