In order to protect the U.S. citizens against "terrorism" the government sidesteps due process, implements the surveillance state, and militarizes the police forces.
Those very citizens grow increasingly fearful of the state, to the point that any trust that did exist vanishes.
In turn the same citizens become potential liabilities to the "free state" and thus any and all activity by those concerned about being stripped of constitutional rights is now evidence against them.
Dissidents, objectors.... even terrorists they become in the eyes of government. Caught in the trap from within only out of concern for protecting what liberties that remained. Labeled as potential enemies and categorized by priority.
In case you were wondering, yes the military can and has killed "potential future" terrorists without any evidence to that effect.

one of the point I constantly hear is, if lots of people conspired to make this event, at least someone would have talked,
yet when you present them with whistleblowers, documents, books, they still call you names,
just look at the whole snowed clusterfuck, nobody is asking how come "no one else talked", they are 100's of thousand of people in the same position but only a half a dozen had the courage to come forward.. that is downright scary,
but another case that's even more interesting is the case of the people who broke into the effe bee eye offices, 9 people broke in and all kept the secret for 40 years, so next time someone tells you, it's sure someone would have come forward and spilled the beans,
