Anyone shipped their car using a carrier service?
How safe is it to leave stuff in the back? I am moving across the country, and wondering if I hid my computer in a box, and put that box under things, do you think it will disappear?

Nope
The carrier is responsible for the car and not the content.
It also adds weight that the carrier needs to know about.
Also a insurance liability to them
- < this. your car, i do believe, is required to be empty when shipping it.pastpastdue

Pack the computer and send separately

If you going to hide shit in your car might as well make it some illegal drugs and make profit

I was going to say to pack it full of heroin.

Put your car on a dinghy, then put the dinghy on an 18-wheeler, then put the 18-wheeler on a ship.

I think what you're talking about is not possible. I am pretty certain your car has to be empty. Likely a customs violation too if you try to essentially smuggle items via your car.

Also take lots of pictures of the car with date stamp ideally when the guy is there. Take pictures before putting in to carriage and after. Inside and out as well as odometer.
I just saw an Austin Martin getting on a carriage for what I assume is for shipping. The event was quite traumatic.
