Anyone use a safe in their house? Thinking about investing in one for anti-theft/fire protection.
Probably something along the lines of the sort of thing you find in a hotel room. Any of you have a home safe/brand you'd recommend?

Do you live in ghetto? Maybe it's time to move out?
- Because breakins only happen in the ghetto. Fucking idiots on this site lately.CygnusZero4

i'm thinking of buying one... priority feature for me is the ability to protect hard drives from heat for as long as possible. Been checking these guys out: www.sentrysafe.com/Series/92/Fir…...
Also, there's one I saw at the local locksmith shop that opened from the top like a cooler and it's priority was heavy insulation against fire - super thick walls inside to protect HDs. Forget the brand...
You can get decent ones at Home Depot, Staples, etc.

been thinking the same thing for media storage. (and maybe emergency runaway cash)

This is the one I'm probably going with. Waterproof, fire resistant, solid, and not crazy expensive. Good for backup hard drives, and important docs., etc with room to grow. Thinking the digital pad will be less annoying then the rotary lock.
Cheap shipping through Wal-mart:
