Are you into it? Do you think it brings about better work?
Personally, I hate it.

Dear diary,
I'm awesome. Today I worked on a project with someone and it came out bad. Must of been all their fault.
Then I came home and looked in the mirror and felt better.
I love you,

You always work alone?

Posts today about collaboration, creativity, X-Box wraps... What is this place becoming, a design forum? ;)

Just started a experimental art project with 8 others. Not sure what may come from it but seems off to a good start. Nice to make something with no rules attached.

When you find the right person to collaborate with it's amazing. The work is amazing. Unfortunately it's rare to find that someone and you usually end up with some douche who can't design worth shit, or doesn't know how to listen.

Sure, it works in some places, but this whole "collaboration is always good" stance is for the birds.

In my experience it's always been highly overrated. But then again I haven't found anyone I gel with really well either.
I suppose like all other things it has it's pros and cons, and like most things, it's not for everyone.

I've been running a music project with some friends for the last 4 years. Each November we urge people to record an album at home.
It's a bit late to get started but feel free to sign up. Once all the music is uploaded you can listen to everyone's tracks. Plus we have a party here in London to play back all the music and some live performances:
