The incubator my company is part of told us they had arranged for all the companies in the incubator to have promo shots and footage taken.
We got our promo photo back today and I thought I'd share it.
I am in disbelief that they actually paid someone to do this!
It's 2 individual shots poorly Photoshopped onto a stock image of our building at bizarre angles. What's odd is that the incubator outsourced shit photographer and video prod guys when our incubation space is mainly video production and photography companies that would do a much better job.
The email we received from them:
"We've put the content live for you to take a look at (http://dmic.org.uk/case-studies... I'm sure you'll agree it looks fantastic, and that Michele has done a superb job with the photography."
on the positive side: the good thing about designers its that promo shots are completely unnecessary, the only thing that matters it's the actual work, so not a big deal really :)
My favorite detail is the lower left corner.
I've seen better composites in PSBs
We're not a design agency anyway. They're also not for our site. It was promo for the incubator and they direct potential investors e.t.c to find out about what's going on in North Greenwich. I just don't get how someone working for a creative agency could actually produce that abomination.
I love how the dude's cheek is partly invisible except for some beard hairs floating around. Worst mask, ever.
The different light source angles are also driving me nuts
lower left corner rocks!
nice attention to detail!
The guy on the right looks like he's just found out what the guy on the left put in his sandwiches.
wow.... if that's what some people think is "superb photography" then I really begin to wonder why the industry isn't dead yet....
expressions! The guy on the right looks like a mug shot, the guy on the left looks like a serial killer.. but at least there's not too much bald head shine!
image won't load for me
get a new job
