[Updated at 10:02 p.m. ET] A body believed to be that of Christopher Dorner has been pulled from the burning cabin, multiple law enforcement sources tell CNN contributor Tom Fuentes. The sources say they were told this by LAPD.
Law enforcement personnel will conduct a forensic exam to identify the body, the sources say.

"Breaking news: The LAPD just announced that earlier reports from multiple sources were incorrect. Investigators have yet to go inside the burned cabin because it is still too hot, so no word yet on whether there is a body inside. We’ll have the latest on the search for Christopher Dorner in a special live broadcast at 12 a.m. ET."

Seems that racism is just as alive as it was in the previous eras, Dorner rebelled in a way that nobody can condone, but he raised questions that need answers. Why was there an initial flat out opposition to reopen his case, then after shooting civilians, absolute admission that it will be re-investigated.
In all likelihood no matter what career Dorner chose, he would have sought vengeance against those he perceived to have mistreated him. What seems to be happening is a form of self-induced purge of people with firearms and violent intent post Sandy Hook. It's unlikely to end soon given the number of disgruntled single unemployed men with firearms. This social phenomenon is identical to what happens in China today, but without guns.
Civilians and police can sleep a little better tonight on the west coast, and while this is an issue that needs to be addressed on several levels, historically it will become clouded in other more current events. It will go from water cooler conversation to bookmarks and newspaper clippings filed away. One generation later most people will have totally forgotten.
Dorner stripped away his victims' humanity by viewing them as "high value targets" and that is a major issue, when people see others as obstacles and not lives. It's not a military training problem, it's a societal disconnect.

I think Dorner was already dead, this was a staged event that was conspired to kill everyone involved that knew about LAPD's actions alleged by Dorner, whom thus had become a major threat to the departments organization. They (the Parties) were taken out by vigilantes to put the blame on Dorner whom was already dead, to cover up any errors of evidence the cabin was burned.
