Last camping trip we made last year, we ended up next to a dude that fell asleep in his car...we thought he'd topped himself.

Last trip I went on I saw 2 live moose, and one dead one with missing head, a bear, and a family of beavers. Not bad for a 5 day trip :)
I love camping.

got this Gregory Savant pack for Peru last year. Just went camping an hr north of Santa Barbara last weekend and was stoked pull it out again. Holds/Organizes everything I need, room to spare, built in rain cover. holds a bladdr, (which I still need to get) and almost disappears on my back when im wearing it right.. I have a long torso, which they say Gregory is more suited for. My girl got the same., just smaller in burgundy. Stylin.

It's the only kind of camping I do. nothing like paddling into the bush

We walked the AT for the first day and walked out to get on the river for the week.
If you have any suggestions, please recommend. We're not sure where we are going this year. Last year the weather was unbelievable and we scaled up to a Class III rapid on the last day which was unforgettable. It would be great to find something similar, otherwise we're thinking somewhere long and tame back home in Michigan.
