I have mixed feelings about this. I want him to talk and I want him to be held accountable for his actions...at one point I said I thought the bombers should be let loose in Southie...I'm still so angry and saddened by what they did. But he's a citizen. Was McVeigh given given his Miranda? If he were American born and did it in the name of the govt. taking away our liberties or whatever the hell would so many people feel the same way? I wonder. I can't help but think it ironic that the gun toting conservatives who go on about the govt. controlling us are ok with having a citizen so controlled by the govt. without any recourse. If it were one of their family members I somehow doubt they'd be mouthing the same words.

Obama Rejects The War on Terror by Trying Boston Bombing Suspect in Civilian Court
http://www.politicususa.com/obam…
I'm glad he did this. I have plenty of issues with the political direction our country has been headed, but if we can't have faith in our country's judicial system, even in the event of the most heinous crimes, then we might as well not have it at all.

- Could have been a wounded hostage in that boat, no way to tell. So they open fire. Any dash-cam footage yet?ZOOP
- They were fired upon first. They dont just shoot first and ask questions later.CygnusZero4
- The cops themselves would go to prison if they were not shot at first.CygnusZero4
- Cop killers get metal rainZOOP
- hahaha metal rainmoldero

rain baby ;)ZOOP - Sheriff Grady Judd said the fugitive would have been shot more, but the SWAT team ran out of bullets.ZOOP
- I think open fire doesn't necessarily mean two way, or so it seems.instrmntl

It makes you wonder after he was shot 24 hours before, what did he think would happen in that boat? He would lay there and die because Im sure he knew damn well by then he wasnt getting out of Boston alive.
He had to know at that point there was no way out of this. Cant imagine what was going through his mind in there. Should have just either killed himself or gave up instead of still trying to get out of this. Must not have been able to think clearly.

The celebration seems bizarre to me. They captured a relatively harmless college kid (I mean any one person can wreak a significant amount of havoc on innocent people without much effort) and spent millions in resources, but they're acting like they've decimated an entire terrorist organization.
- tell me about it. My office is across from the Boston Common. When I walked home last night there was a huge crowd gathered chanting USA, USA, USA and waving flags.Josev
- crowd gathered chanting USA, USA, USA and waving flags.Josev
- relatively harmless?monkeyshine
- Hey man, Americans don't get to celebrate very often any more. Let them enjoy it.nb
- I guess it was harmless. It was a good sized crowd, hundreds or more.Josev
- true what nb said.sea_sea
- This past week has been so stressful and intense for anyone who lives here - I think a little celebration is ok.monkeyshine
- I'm also an American and it's fine by me if they celebrate.. just seems bizarre given how much was lost by us...SteveJobs
- given the casualties, injuries, and money spent... for two demented kids. Guess I'd expect a more somber reflective tone.SteveJobs
- and reflective tone.SteveJobs
- I'm sure it's different if you're there?SteveJobs
- Yes, I think you had to be here.monkeyshine
- plus situations like these create a sense of union among the affected. it feels good to let out some steam.sea_sea
- He was a big threat. They had more bombs and guns. He could have killed more.CygnusZero4
- Capturing him was a big deal. He's off the streets now. Not everyone snaps like these 2 did.CygnusZero4
- To me the celebration is in the miracle that they apprehended him alive. I know others were just happy he was caught. They had been trapped in their houses for a day.instrmntl
- been trapped in their houses for a day.instrmntl

Told ya. They're already constructing the narrative:
Brother’s Keeper: Did Older Sibling Lure Bombing Suspect Into Plot?
Read more: http://nation.time.com/2013/04/2…
- Yeah the movie will definitely show the older brother influencing the younger one.CygnusZero4
- Theyll show shots of the younger one crying in the boat, wondering what he did, cursing his bother lol.CygnusZero4

News just says FBI may never able to talk to him because hes still in very serious condition... So he may die soon?
- this was one of the reasons i bet to not miranda him to make him explain before he possibly dies, imoprophetone
- although the irony is in fact even tho they did that he can't even talk right now and may die anyway, who knowsprophetone
- benfal990
Iam kinda tinfoil hat fan sometimes, but this time iam not buying it; i dont understand why the gov would set up this attack...
- I would study the Nazis for most of answers involving the transformation of America.yurimon
- some eerie similarities.yurimon
- I would also inform myself on precedent act of terrors http://www.corbettre…GeorgesIV
- benfal990
Anyways the conspiracy theory doesnt stick here... If they were framed up, why do they killed an officer at the MIT and run away and shoot at police? If i were framed up i would collaborate, talk to media and defend myself with a lawyer... I would not run away with guns and bombs..
- So waiting for proof is now conspiracy theory? still awaiting to explain the other bombs that didn't go off.yurimon
- that link is bull. fake backpack? just stupid.sea_sea

anyone care to show me when you see any of this perps committing any of their alleged crimes,
hopefully it will come out during the judicial process.
but so far it's only hearsay, he has done that, that, that and that, yet there's absolutely no proof he was involved into anything except having a white backpack and being at the boston marathon,
anything else is pure speculation- "Seeing" isn't the only form of evidence. Conspiracies aside, forensics will reveal the truth.i_monk
- yeah I know, it still make what I'm asking for not wrong, why is it seen so badly in the US to ask for proofs?GeorgesIV
- He dropped the bag at the guys feet and it blew up. He told on them. You'll never have proof if that isn't proof enough.Gucci
