^ Unity3D Flash Export was the most interesting thing to happen to Flash in years.
All the demos of it were far superior to anything Adobe demonstrated with Stage3D.

This stuff:

From PUBLIC CHOICE far exceeds my excitement for anything I've seen in flash for the last few years (other than some slick interactive video stuff that borders on 1990's full motion video games).

I'm seeing more and more HTML5 "loading" screens.
It's like we're repeating the last 10 years.

As long as there is a high paced and high demand client involved, Flash will be as well.

Wow that's a pretty brutal assessment (from detritus' link)
"We don’t see Adobe being firmly committed to the future development of Flash. This is evidenced by the cancellation of Flash Player Next, the instability of recent Flash Player versions and by Adobe’s workforce moving on to work on other projects."
In other words, Flash is still buggy, Adobe has abandoned plans to fix it, and by the way they laid off a bunch of people who could have fixed it. Also remember they ended development of mobile Flash last year as well.

Adobe has added a HTML 5 canvas mode to the last version of CC, so I think as a tool it still has loads of potential.

- "not even used Stage3D" You wouldn't be able to make this with stage 3D without rolling your own everythinganimatedgif
