Hey guys!
Currently recovering from chemo and a number of other things. I realized, recently, that by taking a plastic, folding chair (like you'd have on a balcony) - you can put that in a flat-basin shower and it instantly Becomes a really luxurious experience. (And prevents me from passing out from the heat + standing up)
Anyone been through this here that have made similar life/home hacks for convenience?

nope, never been in this kind of situation, but I wish you a prompt recovery and get some bud to alleviate the pain :)

Godspeed identity!
I had various brain surgeries to alleviate epilepsy years ago; not to compare but instead saying you are not alone...
...Take care of yourself always; health is wealth and you are worth anytime it takes to make yourself better. Find what that will take and focus 100% of your energy to it.

I hope QBN can provide you with positive thoughts, experiences & advice.
This place can be pretty great (at times).
All I know (honestly) is during chemotherapy (and when I lost my appetite during my surgery) I smoked a joint and the healing began...

Fatigue and Psychological Well Being
The journal "Cancer" published a May 1999 study by F. Dimeo and associates that reported the result of physical activity intervention in chemotherapy patients. Twenty-seven subjects engaged in 30 minutes of stationary biking each day while hospitalized. The researchers noted a significant decrease in fatigue complaints among the test subjects compared to the control group. The test group also indicated fewer fears, less anxiety and a decrease in other types of psychological distress.Read more: http://www.livestrong.com/articl…

Get well soon!
I've had two people close to me that had stage 4 cancer, and they both recovered. My mom had breast cancer and she recovered as well.

Hey, hope you get well. My aunt lives with us and she has high risk cancer. The most dangerous about chemo is that you lose your body defenses... She drinks a lot of water, and also eats a lot of vegetables, fish, and keeps a good spirit. I found the worse of cancer is when starts affecting your autonomy, until then we are planning to support and enjoy life with my aunt.

Thanks guys!
Definitely wanted to re-state that I DON'T have cancer.
Very gratefully a part of an experimental stem-cell kidney transplant.
I know ill be okay. Chemo still sucks - but it could be a LOT worse. Thanks everyone for their support - and, again, if you all got some good home-hacks I could implement (very, very weak, at the moment) that would be awesome too!

Damn, hope you recover like a motherfucker.
I don't know any tips like that, but I'll keep an eye on the subject.
