The “reputational reviews” come as Facebook is facing backlash from the public and policymakers after a wave of reports citing Facebook’s own research showing ways Instagram could have a negative effect on teen girls’ mental health.

The Drawing Cocks on Newspapers group is possibly the best thing on the internet. Membership has exploded recently and i fear someday it'll get noticed and be deleted (and that may be the day I delete facebook). if you're still on there I highly recommend.

What does facebook feel/look like lately? I closed my account almost 10 years ago. My parents, in their 70’s, frequently share links to dumb vids from fb. They both have fb accounts, and only god knows what cringy shit they’ve gotten into. Anyways, every once in a while I click on a fb link shared by my beloved padres, and every time I do, I remember what a fucking piece of shit it was/is.
Any relevant, remarkable iteration on the mobile version during the last 10 years?
I can only imagine old people ranting and fucking up in every way possible; and probably a shit load of polls and clickbait fuckery..

It’s been less than a day and I’m exhausted from people reporting Facebook’s news of their name change as if they’re changing the name of THIS app. They are changing the name of the parent company that manages Facebook, Instagram, Oculus Rift, WhatsApp, and whatever else and whatever else they own. It is no different than what Google did several years ago when they change the name of the parent company to alphabet, because Google was one of many different products under that umbrella.
They are never going to change the name of the FB app.
