LinkedIn is the worst shit since Expertsexchange and Quora.
Even if you have NEVER signed up for it they still spam you because some DENSE FUCKING CUNT logged into it using their Gmail and you happen to be in their address book or emailed them once.
- It's called networking bro.d_rek
- lol... j/k.d_rek
- Yeah, I occasionally get invitations from people I emailed once about something random and never met.freedom

how can an app do something like that on iOS? isn't it supposed to be sandboxed?
- aliastime0
^
"Mail isn’t extensible because Apple wants to make sure that the sandboxed nature of its apps protects a user from code that could execute outside the mailbox. Because it’s actually handling your email outside of the device, LinkedIn is breaking none of Apple’s rules. It’s simply re-purposed Apple’s provisioning profiles and Mail.app’s ability to display HTML and CSS to hack in a new feature."

I deleted it. I wonder how much a company gets for data mining from the government/military industrial complex.

the problem is a real one. you got boomer lawyer types etc who have no clue about tech even tho their like totes smart otherwise. then they lose that high profile cereal killer case because it's discovered they have the app on their work phone. embarrassed! the end.

Well it's either that or the space AIDS... My money is on space AIDS.
