Any pinheads in here?
It's pretty hard to find real tables to play these days. Just discovered Pinball Arcade, which spawned a renewed obsession with pinball. It's just so much fun. I love the graphics, the music and the sounds on the classic tables - so great and nostalgic.
Decent Pinball documentary:
Watch it here:

I love pinball. I would love to someday have a couple machines of my own (dreaming). Will definitely look into Pinball Arcade. Thanks for the suggestion.

Where can I play pinball and retro arcade games in New York?

There's a pinball museum/arcade in Asbury Park NJ - not TOO far from NYC mono. Haven't been myself, but a couple of friends have gone and say it's legit.

That emulator looks cool, and does a nice job on the physics, but for myself a big pinball is about the physicality of playing the game itself. Standing, gripping the machine, causing a "tilt", player 2 hanging around next to you, the noise and atmosphere of the arcade. Until we have holodecks I just don't think the experience can be emulated successfully (for myself at least).

- Totally - but as pinball videogames go, it's pretty damn sweet...jagara
