camera mapping is kinda excessive for your example.. you can probably get away with roughly matching the lighting, then doing the reflections / contact shadows in PS... just my two cents.

yeeea, so camera mapping in your case would help to illuminate the object, and deal with reflexions and stuff.
you can try matching the lights roughtly then a nice color correction might do the job, you should match your whites and blacks.
go adjusting the levels or curves channel by channel (rgb) until it looks blended with the background.
