I need a basic cart for wordpress. v.simple just need 2 products but with inventory (well stock levels). I am using a simple cart that doesn't even have stock levels on it but v.good apart from that.
Just need a basic one - not woocommerce or anything that tries to do everything and gives client too many options - too bloaty for my needs. And don't want to spend the next 2 days customising the endless forms and pages associated with woo. Just need product - add to cart - pay via paypal. Simples.
Any ideas anyone?

i used this one not long ago. simple, easy to customize.
htts://wordpress.org/plugins/wor...you can see it working here, on a client demo:

Ha brilliant ^ - this is what I am using - where is the stock level functionality hidden? Cannot find anywhere.
Thank you.- I didn't use it because he didn't need it. I don't think it has that function.renderedred

don't have time or budget to start integrating paypal, coming up with my own solution - just need a v.basic cart like the above you mentioned that has stock levels for products - all the ones I have found are either a) a shack of shit or b) bloatware
- i am familiar with the situation. ;)renderedred
- thanks for your understanding during this difficult time :)fadein11

woocommerce is the opposite of "anything that tries to do everything and gives client too many options"
my problem with it is that its too simple. if you want simple, I would go with woocommerce- lol - trust me it is overkill for this project - way overkill. Really don't have the time to engage in one of your pettyfadein11
- squabbles over semantics or the pros and cons of the bloatware that is woocommerce... sorryfadein11
- for starters it slows websites down significantly - really don't need that on such a basic site. thanks for your input though.fadein11

If you're ok with payments running through PayPal, I'd recommend this plugin:

^ Yep this is what I am using - see above - and it doesn't have stock control - I need basic inventory as well. But thanks.

Thanks for all suggestions but reverted back to WooCommerce - configuring that will take less time than searching for and testing an unknown one. Will just have to hide most options in admin.
