yes, either do all hand drawn or all vector
- hektor9110
I liked the hand drawn version better.

The type was just thrown in there, so could use advice there.

Be honest, if it's not awesome i'll make another one. If there's some refinements, let me know.

Does this represent your work?

1. Vectorize catman; if you want texture, synthesize it in Illustrator. Benefits are cleanliness, scalability, etc.
2. organicgrid hit it with a nice horizontal oriented word mark with some nice spacing. I think once step 1 is done, you can play with a lot more type styles, sizes, etc.

Does the cat look like hitler? Serious
- LOL, who said that?organicgrid
- That's why I made it red. I think B&W would look like hitler cat?pinkfloyd
- Does a bit...see_thru

I think I prefer to place the text under the logo. The wording will be different but i'm going to try to make the width the same as catman.

Why does the logo have texture? Is it even vector?
It's fine, it has charm. It's a drawing and can work for a logo if you want.
Put some effort into the type. Illustrate it and have it interact more with the character. Don't just use x-font and put it next to it.
- Logo was drawn in photoshop with a wacom, the text was just thrown in but i'll work on it laterpinkfloyd
- Don't post so early.omahadesigns

I don't get the 2-tone face. Is there something in the negative space that I'm not seeing? Makes me think there's a malevolent orange cat looming up behind an innocent child.
- It's my great logo, not some psychology blob testpinkfloyd
- just saying that, to me, it looks as though there's 2 separate figures. Not suggesting it doesn't work or wasn't the intention.Fax_Benson
