When writing your profile in your portfolio, first or third person?
Ive always struggled with this, I think it all depends on how you want to come across. If you are using your Portfolio to get a full time job then first person. But if you are using it to pick up your own clients then 3rd person is ok. But id say only if you want to seem like there is more than one of you in the company not a one man band. Hope that makes sense? :)
I like third person for profile, but for other areas where it's more personable or casual speaking, first person. First person in profile does end up sounding a bit too much like a narcissist and a lot of "I" this and "I" that. IMO.
Personal portfolio - First person
Team portfolio or fake-big-agency-but-really-one-m... - Third person
First person, otherwise you sound like a bit of a cock. Imagine talking in third person in an interview.
Write it in 3D
Mix 'em up, always a laugh.
Third person omniscient. "Bill is a designer who blah blah blah".
